Looking for horse for teen with several years of riding and training experience.

We're looking for a Mustang as a first option, but will consider any breed with some of the wish list below that is within an hour or so from Lehi.

This is the wish list:

• Gelding or mare • Titled with a clean transfer of ownership • 4–14 years old • 15+ hands • Sound • Started under saddle (green broke with a solid foundation or more finished) • No dangerous behaviors or stable vices (no bucking, bolting, rearing, cribbing, weaving, etc.) • Good-minded, willing, and kind temperament

Budget: Around $2,000, with flexibility for the right horse.

Temperament and willingness are far more important to us than color, breed, or a show record. We're looking for a forever partner who will receive excellent care, consistent training, and a loving home.

*Dad wants the horse to be rideable and safe. I know at this price you can't have everything and can't be too picky.
