The ADM-3A is an absolute icon of early computing design—its layout permanently defined standard Unix home-row navigation (HJKL) and the home directory symbol (~).

This unit features unique government-ordered assistive technology features and comes directly with its original matching paperwork:

• "ZS BRAILLE" Modification: Features an official physical plate affixed to the front display glass reading "ZS BRAILLE," custom-adapted for assistive braille computing or text-to-speech systems.
• Original Military Paperwork Included: Includes the matching original continuous-feed dot-matrix military surplus documents (DD Form 1348-1). The paperwork officially logs this item as a "TERMINAL, BRAILLE, ADM".
• Utah Military Lineage: Receipts perfectly document the terminal's transfer from the Defense Distribution Depot Warehouse in Ogden, UT to DRMO-Hill at Hill Air Force Base, UT.
• Cosmetics: Original script-style "LSI ADM Information Displays" emblem is completely intact. The cream-colored plastic clamshell housing is in exceptionally solid shape with no cracks or heavy yellowing. Has authentic vintage institutional tape residue on the back.
