5-ish year old molly mule – started under saddle, needs consistent partner

Selling on behalf of my father. Kai was purchased a few years ago with the intention of being a dependable riding mule, but due to lack of time and the consistency needed to continue her education, she has not had the regular work and one-on-one attention needed to reach her full potential.

Kai is approximately 14 hands and is believed to be around 5 years old (age is not confirmed). She was originally purchased as a young mule and has had previous training and has been ridden, but she has had inconsistent handling and significant time off. She is not a finished riding mule and is looking for someone experienced who understands that mules require patience, consistency, and a relationship-based approach.

Kai is a very intelligent mule with a lot of potential. She is healthy, sound, and has a good mind. She saddles, accepts a rider, and has been worked both on the ground and under saddle, but she needs someone experienced who will take the time to build her confidence and continue her education.

Her biggest area for improvement is confidence and trust. She is currently more of a project than a push-button riding mule. She does best with someone who will take the time to build a partnership with her rather than expecting her to immediately be a finished animal.

She has a lot of potential for someone who enjoys bringing along a young mule. With consistent, fair handling, I believe she could become a very nice riding partner.

She is being represented honestly. She is not being advertised as a finished, beginner-safe, or completely green broke mule. She is a young mule with previous training that needs a knowledgeable person to continue developing her.
