My name is Rafaela and I provide nurturing, creative, and engaging childcare for families looking for more than just supervision.
I have a Bachelor degree in Theater and Arts Education, years of experience working with children, and recently served as a Lead Teacher of UKids during the 2025-2026 school year. My approach combines safe, attentive care with meaningful activities that encourage creativity, confidence, curiosity, and learning.
I’m fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and naturally incorporate language exposure and cultural experiences into everyday activities.
What I offer:
• Creative Theater & Storytelling – Imaginative play, puppetry, movement, storytelling, and confidence-building activities.
• Arts & Crafts – Hands-on projects, sensory play, and age-appropriate creative experiences.
• Language Immersion – Fun exposure to Portuguese or Spanish through songs, games, books, and everyday conversation.
• Beginner Guitar Lessons – A playful introduction to music through rhythm, singing, simple chords, and age-appropriate guitar activities that help develop coordination, creativity, and musicality.
• Reliable Professional Care – Structured routines, safety-focused care, and experience supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Theater & Arts Education • Former Lead Teacher • CPR & First Aid Certified • Clean Background Check • Valid U.S. work authorization • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Experienced caring for children of all ages, including newborn care • Doula experience and postpartum family support
Rates & Availability
Rates are based on the scope of care provided and may vary depending on location, number of children, and responsibilities involved.
Nanny Care + Creative Enrichment
- $40-$45/h
Private Arts/Music Session (without nanny responsibilities)
- $50-$60/h
• Available for part-time care, date nights, weekends, special events, and arts enrichment sessions.
Based near the University of Utah, serving families throughout the Salt Lake Valley.
