It has a warm, well rounded sound, and has been loved and played regularly and tuned as recently as two weeks ago. The seat is finished in red silk professionally, which is over the original ivory leather and could be restored back to same.
We have original sale documents from 1980, it sits at 5'8" in Satin Black Ebony, was imported from Japan. This G2 is well balanced, warm, and you're welcome to come play it - piano is in Holladay, Utah.
