Selling our 2017 Shasta Oasis 18BH travel trailer. This is a fantastic, lightweight camper (only ~3,163 lbs dry) that is easy to tow with most mid-sized SUVs or half-ton trucks. It sleeps up to 5 people comfortably with a front queen bed, a dinette sleeper, and two rear bunks.
This rig is fully functional and ready to camp right now, but we are pricing it below market value to be completely upfront about a few cosmetic flaws and missing features:
The Quirks (Full Disclosure):
Cosmetic Tree Bump: The trailer had a minor run-in with a tree. We carefully bent the siding back into place and sealed the area with Dicor. There is some cracked plastic and cosmetic damage, but it is watertight and everything is in fully working condition.
Missing Awning: The exterior awning has been completely removed.
Rusty Jacks: The current stabilizing jacks are a bit rusty. They still function, but if you want to replace them, a brand new set of four is available on Amazon for about $150.
The Good Stuff:
Brand New Tires: We just put brand new tires on the rig, including a brand-new spare, saving you $500+ right off the bat and giving you peace of mind on the highway.
Fully Functional: Despite the cosmetic wear, the AC, furnace, plumbing, and electrical systems all work perfectly.
Key Specs & Features:
Dry Weight: 3,163 lbs
Length: 21 ft 9 in
Sleeping Capacity: 5 (Queen bed, dinette conversion, 2 bunks)
Kitchen: 3-burner gas cooktop, kitchen sink, microwave, and refrigerator
Bathroom: Rear tub/shower combo and marine toilet (Note: this specific unit does not feature a bathroom lavatory sink)
Tanks: 42-gallon fresh water, 36-gallon gray water, 36-gallon black water
HVAC: 13,500 BTU Air Conditioning and 18,000 BTU Furnace
It’s an excellent, affordable option for a family wanting to get into camping this season without dropping $15k+ or needing to upgrade to a heavy-duty tow vehicle. Clean title in hand.
