The light works very well—plug it into a standard household outlet and it immediately lights up and rotates. It reaches full speed right away and rotates smoothly and quietly with no unusual noises.
The original manufacturer plate identifies it as:

Basic two-prong electrical plug
No on/off switch; operates when plugged in
The beacon is securely bolted to a heavy black metal stand, which is included. I inherited it this way and do not know its specific service history or where it was originally used.
Measurements:
Approximately 41" tall overall
Stand is approximately 14" wide at the bottom
Visible red light-cover section is about 6" in diameter
It is in very good vintage condition with normal minor cosmetic wear from age. The red cover is intact with no cracks that I can see. Please review all photos for condition.
This would make a great display piece for a fire-department collection, man cave, garage, workshop, restaurant, bar or vintage industrial décor.
It is heavy, so this is for local pickup only. I will not ship it.
