This is a photo of my sister in law, Angie. Angie is 36 years old and was recently diagnosed with stage 3c high grade serous cell ovarian cancer. Our family is devastated and we are trying to navigate this the best we can. Angie does not have insurance. We are doing our best to help her however we can, and are now reaching out to humbly ask for help from you.
Our families will be holding a yardsale fundraiser for Angie. Everything we make will go to help Angie and her current situation. She is not able to work anymore, she's already had a major surgery and now faces months of chemotherapy.
I am looking for donations of new or gently used items to sell. I am not looking for broken or unusuable items that I will just have to turn around and take to the dump. Thank you for your understanding on this.
I am able to pick up some smaller donations from areas in South Davis County (North Salt Lake, Bountiful, Centerville, Farmington) however if you are outside of this area, or have large items you wish to donate, I would ask you kindly if you could drop them off to my house in Centerville. I know it's a lot to ask, with gas prices and everything being the way they are, but I could really use the help on this.
Not everyone has money to donate, but almost everyone has stuff, and if you are looking to declutter any of your new or gently used items, and are willing to drop them off to me, I would be so very grateful and you would be helping an absolutely beautiful and wonderful person in a very difficult time in her life. You will be blessed for your goodness in helping a stranger.
The yard sale will be taking place August 7th, 8th, and 9th, and I will be taking donations until August 6th.
