A 2001 e-book and guide written by Tira Brandon-Evans, of the Society of Celtic Shamans and published by Elder Grove Press in British Columbia.
According to one description, it is primarily recognized as a foundational text in modern Faery shamanism, detailing the mystical and practical methods for communing with the Fae.The text bridges traditional esoteric concepts with hands-on shamanic practices tailored to nature and spirit-work.
Physical copies seem to be fairly hard to come by these days. It has been said that you can access the full text digitally through the "Library and Archives Canada Electronic Collection." I dunno, I tried finding any available copy of it either printed or digital and got nothing. But then, I wasn't willing to devote more than about 15 minutes for research.
A fellow practitioner of Tira's wrote this about the availability of the book, "...her estate rescinded my permission to share it back in 2020. To my knowledge, it’s not available elsewhere, but if you can find a copy of The Green and Burning Tree (Elder Grove Press), then count yourself lucky. (I google search it every now and again, but so far, have had no luck."
I figured this could be highly prized by someone interested in Celtic Shamanism and for this reason I don't want to just chuck it into the recycling bin.
It's 275 pages in a 3-ring binder notebook. There's also 12 pages of information printed off of the website of the Society of Celtic Shamans. Additional information about the book's subject matter is included below.
