Description
This rooster has been a good protector of our flock, ending up bloody a few times in an effort to protect the hens. He is proven fertile and we have hatched a number or chicks out with him. He is not getting along well with our other rooster though, and we are deciding it is time for him to go. He is a very handsome fellow, but due to his skirmishes, he currently looks more rough than pictured. He is not very aggressive with people, and only starts to get concerned at all with us when he somehow feels we are bothering his hens. He is a pretty good rooster overall. He is between a year and year and a half old. Nice feathering on outside toe. Pretty nice conformation overall. Came from nice dark eggs.
