VenmoDead On coffin blinds provide a fantastic way to hunt the shallow water common in this area. A Dead On coffin blind enables you to hunt where there is little to no cover. Take cover where the birds do not expect you and you will find them coming in Dead On top of you.
Every experienced waterfowl hunter has had the day the ducks and geese are flying, but the birds will not work the area your blind is set up in. With the Dead On blind simply move to where the birds are. Mud, shallow water, little cover, NO PROBLEM.
The Dead On coffin is extremely durable. The polyethylene construction via rotational molding is recognized as the way to make an extremely rugged part. I have sold them here in the Utah market for 24 years. Look up coffin hunting on the Great Salt Lake and you will find many videos displaying the blinds in action.
Transporting the blind is very easy in that the blind weighs only about 24 lbs. The tow strap makes it a great cargo sled for towing decoys and equipment through water or over the snow and ice.
The blinds ability to stack easily (one inside the other) is a key feature for the ability to transport multiple blinds in your truck or in your boat. The blinds dimensions are 78” long, 28” wide, and 10” high.
People often ask if they can use the coffin blind as a boat. Sorry this does not work. Never attempt to use a coffin blind as a boat. The result will be a swimming lesson. :-)
I have two color options. Brown camo and jet black. The brown camo is the most common due to the versatility of the color. Jet black is for those hunting in large spreads of black silhouette decoys. The black coffin blends with the black decoys and actually ads to the mass of your decoys. The brown coffins work well in the black silhouette decoys as well, but the black coffins are the ultimate when hunting in the black decoys.
The price of $225 includes the coffin blind and tow rope. Coffins with a brown bungee cord attached around the perimeter are available for $250. The bungee cord is handy when hunting in shallow cover that can be attached to the blind.
The prices include the sales tax. The price detail is $209.79 plus $15.21 (7.25%) sales tax = Total $225.00 each.
