What this means: He walks just fine and gets around easily on his own. When he runs, his back legs can’t quite keep up with his front, causing him to swing his body and occasionally bump or scrape his rear feet. Because of this, he can develop superficial abrasions on his toes or feet. He doesn’t need assistance to move around, and he’s not in distress — he’s simply built a little differently, and he embraces life with enthusiasm anyway. Teh medical staff has given him multiple examinations and radiographs to get him to adoptions. He may benefit from booties when walking outdoors to prevent scrapes. Booties should be removed when he’s resting or in his kennel so his feet can breathe and stay healthy. These small accommodations help him enjoy life to the fullest — and he absolutely does.
