This is a 4 Disc DVD TV series, based on Catherine Marshall's bestselling novel, originally aired from 1994 to 1995. It follows 19-year-old Christy Huddleston (played by Kellie Martin) leaving home to teach in the remote Appalachian mountain community of Cutter Gap, Tennessee, in 1912.
