Decorative, signed & numbered hand-painted studio art birdhouse resembles a European cottage with shutters, a decorative faux bird, tiles on the roof and painted windows & flowers. Bird figurine has real feathers. It's in excellent condition with minor signs of wear- the “moss” on the roof has worn down a bit. Bird house is made from solid wood with wood shingles on the roof. Hella Pope is a Utah-based folk art and decorative painter known for European folk styles, including Norwegian Rosemaling and German traditions. She received her commercial art degree in Düsseldorf, Germany, and became a regular participant in regional cultural events like the Living Traditions Festival in Salt Lake City and Swiss Days in Midway, Utah.
