Meet Maple – Looking for Her Perfect Forever Home

Maple is a gorgeous German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix with the brains of a working dog and the heart of a loyal companion. Born on December 1, 2023, this sweet girl is looking for a home where she can continue to thrive and be someone's adventure buddy and best friend.

Maple has advanced training and a wonderful foundation of obedience and manners. She is kennel trained, rides beautifully in the car, and loves being with her people. While she enjoys getting her energy out outdoors, she's surprisingly laid back in the home for her breed mix.

Personality: Maple is affectionate, intelligent, and eager to bond with her family. She loves playing with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion in her new home. She thrives with structure, consistency, and an owner who appreciates working breeds.

Maple does experience some separation anxiety and can be a sensitive girl. She is fearful of young toddlers and would do best in a home without small children. Because of this, we're looking for a family with older, respectful children or an adult-only home where she can feel comfortable and secure.

Maple is being rehomed through no fault of her own. Her current family loves her dearly but recognizes that, with very young children and frequent military moves, they are unable to provide the calm environment she needs and deserves.
