Forget buying an untrained goat and wondering if you’re getting a hiking partner or a four-legged demolition crew. These six Spring 2026 Nubian wether pack goats have already graduated from Goat Boot Camp, so you get to skip the hard part.
Born and raised on our farm, these boys come from our selectively bred herd selected for size, stoutness, parasite resistance, and easygoing personalities. They’re weaned, current on healthcare, gentle enough for just about anyone to handle, and have enough life experience to make most teenagers jealous.
They lead, load, stand tied, and work well alone or with the herd. They’ve been hauling empty training pack saddles and are already prepared to carry your lunch, snacks, and a couple bottles of water without complaining. Give them another year, and they’ll be ready to earn their keep carrying real loads on the trail.
These aren’t pasture ornaments. They’ve attended the 2026 Cheyenne Frontier Days immersive animal event, baby goat yoga sessions, education days, trips into town, and assisted living visits. They’ve seen traffic, crowds, strange noises, kids, dogs, wheelchairs, strollers, and just about everything else the world can throw at them. If your hiking buddy is the one who spooks easily, it probably won’t be the goat.
Need to haul them home? They’ll happily load into a livestock trailer—or, if that’s not available, they’ll ride in the back of your SUV or car while silently judging your music choices.
Whether you’re looking for future hunting partners, backpacking companions, camping buddies, or just the coolest conversation starters on the trail, these boys are ready. They’re in great shape, all the hard work has already been done, and they’re eager to hit the trail. They’ll happily tag along this hunting season so you can finish their training exactly the way you like.
Warning: Side effects may include strangers stopping to ask questions, children insisting they’re the best thing ever, and your dog becoming jealous that the goats get to go on all the adventures.
Please message me or send an email to apply to have these fine young fellows join your outfit. equus31570@gmail.com
PREFERENCE GIVEN TO A HOME WHERE THEY CAN GO TOGETHER. They are a trained team afterall. $3000
