Generally one of the higher-rated models in the Minolta manual focus pantheon, it offers Aperture-Priority auto-exposure and Full -Manual shooting modes. Considering it's been in a drawer for the last 10 years or so, it operates pretty well. Shutter and metering work. I don't have specialized equipment to bench-test it for accuracy, but the shutter responds appropriately to long or short exposures and the meter seems to read about 1/2 stop less exposure than an old Sekonic hand-held light meter. (Frankly, I don't know how acccurate the Sekonic is either...)

I have no intention of taking the trouble to film-test it.

The film door light seals were replaced by me with high-quality rubber seals somewhere around 10 years ago and they look just as good now.

The viewfinder is mostly clean with a few little specs here and there. Cosmetics are excellent.

Batteries are included.

The lens is in similarly good shape. It's marked as "Macro Focusing" but that just means that it can focus closer than most lenses of a similar focal length, it isn't a true macro lens. It has a 72mm filter thread and no front cap but it does have a rear cap.

I checked out eBay a few days ago and found an average SOLD price for just a non-working X-570 body for parts only to be $39.75 and an average SOLD price for the Vivitar lens to be $22.50. Buy local and get a working camera/lens for the price of a junker camera
