Happy, Dopey, Bashful, Grumpy & Solyndrax are officially looking for their people, and apparently nobody bothered to tell them they were supposed to live up to their names.
HAPPY (picture 4) $2599 Longhair Cream Dapple
Happy is convinced that Happy is, in fact, the baby. It does not matter what the birth certificates say. Happy has claimed the position and would appreciate everyone respecting the hierarchy.
DOPEY (picture 2) $1599 Longhair Cream Dapple Piebald
Not particularly dopey at all! This little one is actually a bit shy and likes a minute to take everything in before deciding you're probably worth getting to know.
BASHFUL (picture 3) $2599 Longhair Cream Dapple Piebald
Bashful forgot the "bashful" part somewhere along the way. This one is SILLY. Expect personality, entertainment and the occasional moment that makes you wonder what exactly is happening inside that little dachshund brain.
GRUMPY (picture 5) $2599 Longhair Cream Dapple
Grumpy isn't really grumpy. Grumpy is serious. Well behaved, composed and apparently carrying the weight of several important dachshund responsibilities on those tiny shoulders. Someone has to supervise this operation.
SOLYNDRAX (picture 1) $2799 Wire-hair Color is Wheaten
And then there's Solyndrax. Sweet, loving and apparently content to let the dwarfs create the chaos while Solyndrax collects the cuddles.
And these aren't tiny puppies starting from square one.
They are already:
Crate trained
Pee-pad trained
Litter-box trained
Doing very well with outdoor potty training
With consistency in their new homes, I would expect them to finish the potty-training transition within approximately three months of placement.
They've had the benefit of staying with me longer, which means they've also had more time to learn routines, boundaries and how to live in a home. Sometimes the puppy who doesn't leave at eight weeks comes with a few pretty wonderful upgrades.
I have reduced their placement price because my priority now is finding each of them the right home.
I am also willing to consider reasonable trades, so if you've loved one of these babies but the timing or price previously kept you from reaching out, talk to me. I may be more flexible than you think.
These aren't puppies I'm trying to "get rid of." They are puppies who are ready for their own person, their own couch, and their own next chapter.
And apparently, in Happy's case, their own household in which everyone understands who the baby is.
