ZelleThe story behind this light is pretty cool I think, It was originally from the KSL Studio downtown SLC. I have professionally converted it over to a 60W LED.
This is meant for decoration that is also functional. I have made as little modification to the original look as possible when converting it to LED. It can also very easily be converted back to the 2k Tungsten globe relatively easily if you really wanted. I have even retained the original spot and flood mechanism to work with the LED.
The actual LED used is a high quality COB, it is Bi-color meaning you can adjust the color temperature from 2700K - 6500K and it is dimmable as well as Bluetooth controllable. It does also have a knob on the back that can be used to dim/change the color temp manually. It stays cool to the touch, unlike when it was original. I was also surprised at how nice the light quality is out of this light. The Fresnel does its job nicely to provide an even beam that has nice shadows and can be cut sharply with the barndoors.
