This is a high alumina refractory brick. Good thermal shock resistance and very dense. i have 30 of these and they are tapered on maybe every plane? Hard to make sense of it. If you are motivated to make these work for you they are a great brick. Great material for pizza ovens, slow to heat up but hold heat a long time. $3 each or $75 for all 30. Brick are old but appear to be unused
