VenmoHenry is a handsome 13-year-old grade bay gelding with a beautiful blaze and four white socks. He has been a wonderful pony for my son, but my son just isn’t riding him anymore, and we feel Henry deserves a home where he can be enjoyed instead of standing in the pasture.
Henry is quiet and dependable around the house and enjoys riding down the road. He has packed younger kids on a lead line and has been exposed to dogs and traffic without issue. He loads and trailers well, stands tied quietly, and is good for the farrier.
Henry hasn’t been ridden consistently over the past few months, so he’ll benefit from getting back into a regular routine. He can be a little hard to catch in a large pasture, and he could use a diet.
While Henry has been wonderful for our son, we think he’d be happiest with an older kid who wants to ride and spend time with him regularly. At 13 years old, he still has plenty of good years ahead of him.
This is a difficult decision, but we know Henry deserves a family who will appreciate him and give him the attention and time he deserve.
