Zorro is a 9-year-old Bay Gelding; He would best suit an intermediate to advanced rider. He was originally used as a team roping horse when we purchased him. We bought him for our 13-year-old daughter to use as a 4-h/trail horse. She used him last year in the mountains and in horse 4-h. Since buying him, my daughter has decided she wants to do breakaway roping for high school rodeo. She has been using him to learn to rope since November, but he is young and pretty energetic, making it hard for her to learn to rope. We have bought her a much older breakaway horse to learn on and use for high school rodeo. Zorro is too much of a horse for my 7yr old to learn to ride, so we are selling him to get our youngest an older, quieter horse that would be a good beginner horse. He was boarded at a local stable all winter and rode 4-5 times a week throughout the winter. He has bucked on my oldest daughter several times, but she can ride it out and correct him easily. Zorro is easy to catch in the pasture and comes right to you; he is caught morning and night to go to the pasture during the day and back to the corrals at night. He is a little pushy with our other horses but he does do well with them. He does amazing in the mountains and great in the arenas; we have pushed cattle on him both in the arena setting and in the mountains.
