This is one of the original Tex-Mex Fender strats. The body, neck, and hardware were made in the Corona USA factory, then shipped across the border to the Ensenada factory to be painted and assembled. These guitars rivaled the USA Fenders at the time and many preferred them. Unlike the USA strats at the time, these guitars featured jumbo frets and a flatter 9.5 degree fingerboard radius which made string bending a shredding a breeze.

This guitar has a Seymour Duncan JB Jr pickup in the bridge and Tex-Mex pickups in the middle and neck positions. It's a great combination and covers a lot of ground. It still sounds and performs like a great strat should.

This is a thirty year old guitar and has the requisite dings in the body. It still looks great and the neck is perfect. It's one of the best strats I've ever played and I hate to part with it. Comes with a Roadrunner gig bag.
