Our Cane Corso, Duke, is looking for a new home. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family, but it’s the right one for him.

He is just over 2 years old, intact, and has been a wonderful family dog. He has been great with our three kids, including our baby, and does very well with our female doodle.

Unfortunately, ever since our female dog went into heat, he and our other male dog have been getting into fights almost daily. He will randomly initiate the fights and our other male ends up overpowering him, leaving him with cuts and injuries. We don’t feel it’s fair or safe to continue putting either dog in this situation.

On top of that we recently found out that our newest baby is allergic to him, which has made this decision even more difficult for our family. It also has made him an outside dog now, but he is house trained and crate trained.

Because of this, he needs to be the only male dog in the home. He is very loyal and naturally protective of his family so he may need some time to adjust to a new home and build trust with his new owners.

We’re looking for someone experienced with large guardian breeds who can give him the structure, attention, and home he deserves. Finding the right fit is much more important to us than finding a home quickly.
