Dusty is sound and healthy, he has fantastic hard hooves that can go barefoot if you would like.
He has good ground manners at the hitching post, at the trailer, in the trailer, and on a high line. He loves the clippers and stands nice for the farrier and bathing. Also perfect to saddle and bridle.
I have owned Dusty for about 6 years, only selling him because I'm downsizing my herd. He has been all over the mountains.. on trail rides, herding cows, hunting, packed game and both soft and hard panniers.
This horse will take you on trail rides with others or by himself with absolutely no fuss! Any age or level of rider will enjoy him, he is the go to horse. He doesn’t mind a crowd of horses and he will not spook if you want to go on a ride by yourself. He can hang with the quarter horses or pick up a smooth gate.
Dusty is a very easy keeper and gains weight when on pasture. He is better off on regulated pasture time or kept in a pen.
