CashAppHello, and thanks for checking out my listing!
Up for sale is an early-1960s Hammond RT-3 Concert organ and mid-1970s model 700 Leslie Speaker. As a pair, they sound wonderful! Everything on both the Hammond and Leslie is fully functional.
The Hammond RT-3 is 100% identical in function and sound as a Hammond B-3 or C-3 organ. It has the exact same keyboards/manuals, drawbars, tone generator and preamp as a B-3. The only difference in the RT-3 is that it has a slightly wider cabinet to accommodate more bass pedals (32 vs. 25), and it has an additional pedal solo system tone generator for the pedal tones. On a recording, it is impossible to tell the difference between an RT-3 and a B-3 or C-3 organ. In fact, all of the famous recordings with Hammond organs (The Beatles, Pink Floyd, etc.) from Abbey Road Studios in the U.K. were played on a Hammond RT-3!
The 700 Leslie is a two-channel speaker with one channel utilizing stationary speakers (two 6”x9” speakers and one 15” woofer) and the other channel utilizing a rotating speaker/drum. Together, they produce a full and beautiful sound.
The organ has been thoroughly checked and tested, and the tone generator was just oiled. There are no missing tones on any keys or pedals. All presets and drawbars function perfectly, as well as the vibrato/chorus system. The Leslie speaker was also recently serviced, including lubricating the motors, and re-tensioning the rotor belt.
Please message me if you have any questions or need additional photos or information. Thanks!
