Beat the heat without spending thousands on central AC or hundreds on a new window AC!

Selling a Zenith ZW6500R 6,500 BTU Window Air Conditioner that is in excellent working condition and was only used for part of one summer.

This unit has had very little actual use. I no longer live in a home with the vertically opening windows required for a traditional window AC, so it has simply been stored. I pulled it out and personally tested it yesterday — it runs perfectly and blows ice-cold air.

When we did use it, this thing was fantastic. It cooled the room very quickly and, in our experience, handled a surprisingly large area for its compact size. Perfect for a bedroom, home office, apartment, dorm, workshop, bonus room or other space that needs some serious relief from the summer heat.

WINDOW FIT / INSTALLATION

Designed for traditional single-hung or double-hung windows that open vertically.

Manufacturer specifications call for approximately:

• 22"–36" window opening width

• 13" minimum vertical opening

Includes window sealing/insulating material to help create a tighter fit around the unit.

CONDITION

The actual air conditioner is in excellent condition and works perfectly.

It was only used for part of one summer and has been stored since. I tested it again yesterday and everything is working as it should.

There are two cosmetic/accessory issues worth noting:

• The original box is a little beat up from storage.

• The two accordion-style window side panels/curtains have some damage. One is broken and the other has a small crack. These are simply the expandable pieces used to fill the extra space between the AC and the sides of the window and can be replaced or another window-gap solution can easily be used.

The damage is to the window insert pieces only — not the air conditioner itself.

Includes the insulating/sealing foam pieces shown with the unit.

WHY I'M SELLING

We simply can't use it anymore because our current home doesn't have the vertically opening windows required for this type of window air conditioner.

Otherwise I would absolutely keep it. It worked incredibly well when we used it.

This is a great opportunity to get a powerful, feature-packed window AC for a fraction of what a comparable new unit costs.

Utah summers aren't getting any cooler. Don't spend another miserable afternoon or sleepless night roasting in a hot bedroom when you can have actual refrigerated air.
