Selling my 2014 Kawasaki Versys 650. Clean title in hand, registration up to date. Asking $3k OBO. 32,600 miles, will probably go up as I still try to get out and ride.
I have owned this bike for over 2 years and it hasn't ever let me down. It's a 12 year old bike and it's been ridden a lot so it isn't immaculate, but it's still in very good condition. No scratches or dings, never been dropped or laid down or otherwise crashed. There are a couple of spots that have some surface rust on the shifter and the bar end, but that's pretty much the extent of it.
Tires are both good. The rear tire is a Michelin Road 6 and was installed in fall/summer of 2024, only has maybe 2k miles on it. I'm not sure when the front was replaced but it is a Road 5 and is still in great shape. I had a leaky fork seal last summer and had the forks rebuilt to correct that, so no issues you need look out for. Chain is in good shape, no rust or anything else wonky with it. Brakes work well and haven't needed anything. Clutch is in good working condition. I have done oil/filter changes roughly every 6 months and/or 2-3k miles, whichever comes first. Has a few QOL upgrades like a metal skid plate, barkbuster hand guards, madstad windscreen, seat concepts saddle, adjustable front and rear suspension. Also has a quad lock and tank bag that will stay with the bike.
I have really loved this bike for the time I have had it. It's a good bike for a beginner who wants a little extra power but not too much to get into trouble, it's also a great bike for just relaxing and cruising on the weekends. Does well in the canyons, highways, city, everywhere you'd need it to go. Unfortunately this year I just have not had time to ride it much and I don't forsee myself having time to ride again until next season, so I would rather see her go to someone who can ride her rather than just having her sit for a year.
$3000 OBO CASH. Not interested in trades. Please don't ask, the answer is no. Please reach out with any questions or to take a look. Must have valid Motorcycle endorsement and cash in hand to test ride.
