I have owned and maintained this machine since it was new. I have always used soft water with the boiler guard. I sent pics of the boiler tubes to Staheli West and they replied that they looked great. I have hardware for a 2170 MF Baler. The Baler is also up for sale. This is really the only way to consistently bale beautiful hay. Don't wait for the dew. I would not be selling this, if I wasn't getting out of the hay business.
