ApplePayRooster is a handsome 9-year-old bay Quarter Horse, standing around 15 hands, with a solid, athletic build and a great work ethic.
He is a versatile, experienced horse that has been used in a dude-ranch setting and did extremely well going on rides all day, every day. He has the stamina and experience to put in a full day’s work.
Rooster has plenty of speed and athletic ability when you ask for it. He’s quick out of the gate, but what I really like about him is that he can come right back down and stand quietly. He has a good stop and can be calm and relaxed when you’re not asking him to go.
He’s been exposed to a rope and doesn’t mind it whatsoever. I have personally thrown a rope around him without an issue. I was told by the previous owner that he had been used around cattle, although I can’t personally verify how much roping he has done. With his speed, build, mind, and rope exposure, I think he would make an excellent cowboy, ranch, or roping prospect.
He’s also extremely easy to handle on the ground:
