VenmoHelp me! I've been replaced by a newer, mission-style table (from Costco no less). Turns out, my owners didn't really want a "sleek, modern, table" they were looking for something different, older looking. Not to speak badly of them but I've heard that I was their fourth dining table in the last 10 years.
Unlike the new dining set, my chairs are solid wood and sturdy, not covered with a lot of food-attracting fabric like the new chairs. Also, I'm pretty cool looking, my glass top is perfection. My "replacement" has some vertical lines on the legs so they can say "mission style" but I think it's really "cheap, China import style." But that's just my opinion.
Regardless, I'm now located in the living room, banished forever from the dining room. However, I don't think this arrangement is permanent, I've overheard them mention the "D. I.". Not sure what that is but it doesn't sound good.
Please help me find a new home, I'm in really good condition, still very attractive and my chairs are as sturdy as they come, no wobbly legs or worrying if they'll support your "heavier" uncle when he stops by for dinner. They will.
At this price, I won't last long so hurry and call those $^&#(%'s who replaced me with a Costco floozy.
