Matching pair of vintage bookcase headboards for twin beds, dating from about 1960. These came from my grandparents’ home in Missouri and have been well cared for over the years.

Each headboard features a built-in shelf that’s perfect for books, a clock, or bedside essentials. The wood appears to be birch (or maple) with a warm original finish and a clean mid-century design.

Both are solid, sturdy, and in very good vintage condition with minor cosmetic wear consistent with age.
