VenmoI used these for my IEM rig. They are in perfect condition and were always racked. I used them to send one feed to my XR18 monitor mixer and a separate feed to front of house. Included are the wires to permanently connect to your mixer. Each unit is eight channel. Combined they handle sixteen.
$220 each or $400 for both.
Features:
The ART S8 is an 8-channel passive microphone splitter (from Applied Research & Technology). It’s designed to take up to eight balanced low-impedance mic signals and split each one into two outputs: one direct and one transformer-isolated.
What it’s good for
Live sound:
Send the same mics to the Front-of-House (FOH) mixer and a separate monitor mixer (or in-ear monitor system) at the same time. The isolated outputs prevent ground-loop hum between the two systems.
Recording / broadcast:
Feed a live mix to FOH while sending clean, isolated signals to a recording multitrack or broadcast console.
Any situation needing parallel mic feeds: Stage → FOH + monitors, or stage → FOH + recording, without Y-cables or active splitters that can introduce noise or require power.
Key features that make it useful
Direct outputs pass phantom power from the main mixer (so condenser mics still work).
Transformer isolation on the second set of outputs + individual ground-lift switches (helps kill ground-loop buzz).
Pad switches on each input so you can also split preamplified/line-level signals (keyboards, DI boxes, instrument preamps, etc.).
Fully passive, rack-mountable (1U), and built to be reliable in pro-audio environments.
In short, it’s a practical, affordable tool for anyone who regularly needs to split multiple mic (or line) signals cleanly between two mixers or systems without compromising sound quality or introducing noise.
Specs:
8-Channel 2-Way Splitter
Balanced XLR Connections
1x Direct and 1x Transformer-Isolated Output per Channel
Direct Outputs Pass Phantom Power
Switchable Ground Lift and Input Pad per Channel
Passive Design - No Power Required
1U Rackmount
Reversible Rack Ears
