Venmo
PayPalStout, big-footed, and sound, with striking feathered white feet. This horse has a gas tank that doesn’t quit — he’ll go all day and come back for more.
Maverick has cowboyed in Wyoming, Colorado, and Kansas. Extensively used as a working ranch horse on cattle, plus hundreds of mountain miles on the Bridger-Teton and pack trip experience. Solid foundation in the branding pen and has been used as a pickup horse at the rodeo. He’s seen a lot and handled it.
Up to date on shots and Coggins. Great for the farrier and great in the trailer.
He is not a beginner horse. He’s got a lot of go, he’s sensitive and he’s watchy — he needs a confident rider with a job for him. For the right person he’s a blast, because he is genuinely game for anything you point him at. Best suited to a working ranch, mountain horse or someone who’ll ride him regularly. He tolerated winters off with me and came back quick, but he’s happiest in daily work. Has been seen to crow hop when you first set off but this only tends to happen if he has had some time off, he doesn’t do it when in consistent work.
