VenmoOne half of this weekend’s Estate Sale Double-Header! What do you get when you combine a history professor who collects fine art, loves photography and skiing, has an extensive library of historical periodicals—and then add a serious interest in rugs and tools? You get a house full of genuinely interesting things.
This Park City / Snyderville sale reflects a very specific mix of interests and collecting: fine art and photography, a strong selection of Mexican pottery and decorative pieces, books and historical periodicals, cameras and photography equipment, ski gear, men’s clothing and shoes, rugs and textiles, household furnishings, tools, garage items, Weber grills, model railroad supplies, and other pieces gathered over time.
A quick note about the kitchen: It was undergoing a bit of construction when these photos were taken, so it isn’t well represented in the preview. There is a kitchen, and it will be ready and open for shopping by sale day.
The photography collection includes cameras, lenses, flashes, filters, supports, cases, and accessories. The garage is equally worth exploring, with Ryobi and Ridgid tools, storage, shop supplies, ski equipment, and plenty of useful finds. Inside, the collection feels personal rather than random, with many pieces tied to travel, history, photography, art, and long-standing hobbies. This is the kind of sale where taking your time and looking carefully will be rewarded. And yes, there are rugs. Quite a few rugs.
Two very different sales. Two very different collections. Take a look at the photos and descriptions, make your plan, and pace yourselves—it’s going to be a busy weekend.
