• Rheem Commercial point-of-use (POU) water heaters are well-suited for a wide variety of applications. They are ideally suited for installation in retail stores, public restrooms, rehab centers, office washrooms, kitchen and mop or bar sinks. POU water heaters are small enough to fit in limited spaces under counters, mop sinks, cabinets or any remote area where modest quantities of hot water are required. Since "point-of-use" water heaters are installed very near the location where hot water is used, less heat is lost between the tank and the tap. In instances where a centralized water heater is located a long distance from the hot water tap, a commercial point-of-use model installed near the tap is often used to boost the water temperature and reduce wait times for hot water. Installation and maintenance are simplified with side water connects and power connections located and accessible from the front.
