Bandit is an incredibly loving and sweet dog. We don't know his true breed, but highly suspect a corgi mix. He’s great with other animals and has learned lots of tricks like sit, lay down, rollover, and shake, though he may be out of practice. He is extremely well potty trained and will whine by the door when he needs to go. He has lots of energy and loves to play and zoom around. His favorite thing to do is cuddle under a blanket. Either with you or by himself but he always has to have a blanket around. He’ll do anything for a treat but “bonies” are his favorite treat of all. He is defensive of food (or trash) he sees as his (anything he gets to or falls on the ground near him). Anything you are holding though he won’t try to take, he just begs for it with his big eyes and often succeeds. He loves playing with other dogs and clearly thinks he can play with the big dogs even if he usually just gets run over by them, he doesn’t mind. He will bark when someone he doesn’t know enters his home but out in public he’s just happy to be there and usually just tries to get a quick sniff of a passerby before continuing on. Even when other dogs in public bark at him he just stares at them. We unfortunately have found ourselves too busy with a new job and 2 young children to give him as much attention and care as we would like. He’s very sweet and I hope whoever adopts him loves him as much as we do!
