Socrates may have had a rough start, but this little guy is determined to make up for lost time!

He came into foster care at just 3½ weeks old, very sick and needing more help than a tiny kitten should ever have to handle. He spent two days in the veterinary clinic’s ICU, fighting his way back to health. Thankfully, Socrates had other plans — and those plans apparently include growing, playing, exploring, and getting into as much kitten mischief as possible!

Today, Socrates is a happy, silly, curious little boy who loves to play and investigate everything around him. He’s making up for those difficult first weeks by embracing kittenhood with his whole heart. Toys, adventures, new things to discover — Socrates is ready for all of it!

His story is a pretty incredible reminder of how far a tiny kitten can come with a lot of care, determination, and love.

Socrates is now looking for a forever family who will continue to give him the love, patience, and attention he deserves — and who understands that adopting a kitten means signing up for plenty of laughter and a little bit of chaos!
