Works as a unit: you get the top and the two motorized riser legs. The legs are currently detached, so you'll need to reattach them yourself (bolt them back on - hardware is there, easy job). Motors and height adjustment work.
Being upfront: small chip in the bottom-left corner of the top (see photos) - totally usable, purely cosmetic.
