It works. Very cool vintage Red Star Products Multiplex Model 30-A radial arm saw, manufactured in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

This is an early American-made heavy-duty woodworking machine believed to date from approximately the mid-to-late 1940s.

Extremely heavy cast-metal construction and mounted on its original-style steel cabinet/base. These Multiplex machines were designed as versatile shop tools for crosscutting, ripping, mitering, bevel cuts and other woodworking operations.
