ZelleThis loom was a high school graduation present and was my creative outlet for over a decade; however, I've picked up many other hobbies (along with a full-time job!) over the years and it's now spending too much time idle in the corner. It's in great working condition and I would love for it to go to a good home with an artist who has the time and energy to use it to its potential.
Here's the full description from Schacht: https://schachtspindle.com/collections/looms/products/baby-wolf-shaft-looms
As you'll see on their site, this loom folds to a depth of less than 2', making it a great option for someone with limited space (I had it in a one-bedroom apartment for many years)! The working surface is 38" wide, perfect for weaving scarves, placemats, small rugs, and baby blankets. With 8 harnesses you have the option to weave double-width projects in simple patterns, as well.
I'm selling it with all of the supplies you need for pretty much any weaving project, including:
Bobbin winder and several bobbins
Schacht's minimalist warping peg set (plus the soft-surface wooden clamps I've used with the warping pegs for all my projects)
Dual-sided heddle/reed hook
10-dent reed
Two boat shuttles (one short, one long)
Weaving sticks
Extra heddles
I am most interested in selling it to someone who will care for it and use it regularly. If that's you or someone you know, please make me your best offer even if it's lower than the asking price :) I would love to hear about your experience with weaving and plans for what you'll make! If you are interested in purchasing it at a discount for use in a school, art program, etc., I am very open to that as well.
