VenmoWe bought this brand new and it's been well cared for, but it's time to let it go. This is the Rocky Mountain Edition, which comes with real upgrades over the standard 242BHSW: an 80-gallon fresh water tank (vs. the standard 38), an 8 cu. ft. fridge with a separate freezer (vs. standard 6), a porcelain toilet instead of the usual RV plastic, an upgraded pull-out kitchen faucet with sprayer, sink cover and rolling drying rack, an accent kitchen backsplash, a spacious corner-built medicine cabinet, and wide fold-up entry steps.
It also has Jayco's Thermal Package — heated, enclosed underbelly and insulated/heated tanks, so it's not just a summer trailer. One slide-out keeps it open inside: U-dinette, 60x80 queen bed up front, and a rear bunkhouse (bunks rated for 600 lbs) that sleeps the kids easily. One of the biggest bathrooms we've seen for this size trailer.
Also includes a Hensley Arrow anti-sway hitch — sells new for close to $2,845 on its own — which takes real stress out of towing, especially in wind or around semis.
We had a Protect Clear Coat applied at the dealership after our first summer, rated to protect the finish for up to 5 years — still in effect.
