This is a top-of-the-line Sony Trinitron Professional Video Monitor PVM-14M2U. The screen is 14”, though only 13 of those are visible, and boasts an impressive 600tvl (tv lines). It has composite, s-video, and component inputs. They all work perfectly, but you should really only be using the component, and s-video, with component being the best choice whenever possible.
The tv has BNC connectors, and requires BNC female to RCA female adaptors (they’re very cheap). The pictures are of component, except the Smash Bros., which are S-Video. Any lines or imperfections in the images are just because of how CRTs show up in photos. In real life the screen is flawless.
There is a very small crack on the front plastic bezel, and a scratch on top of the metal body case. One of the small black plastic handles on the bottom front was broken (these almost always break, and have no function, so it doesn’t really matter), but I superglued it back together.
These monitors are becoming more rare, and harder to find. These regularly sell for $1,000 or more on eBay.
$650 obo.
