Alfie is a 15 hh Gypsy Vanner / Friesian cross gelding. He just turned 8 years old. Alfie has had a lot of training, does well in the arena and on trails, has been on camping trips and is an all around great horse! He could use some more desensitizing, which just comes with time. He lacks some confidence when alone on trails - he does amazing on trails when he's with friends. He is very curious, friendly, playful and has a lot of personality! He has very big, solid hooves and doesn't need shoes. He has a lot of go, which is the only reason I wouldn't recommend him for a beginner. But he is a big puppy dog! First one to greet you at the gate and loves attention. He does well bareback, with a bit, bitless, he's an all around great horse! He has a super soft mouth and is an easy going guy. I can't say enough good things about him!
