1999 Honda 929 Fireblade — 80% Rebuilt,

This started life as a1999 Honda 929 Fireblade, but I got it in my head that I was gonna tear the whole thing apart and rebuild it. And by “rebuild,” I meanevery nut, bolt, bearing, seal, and questionable life decision.

The bike has been completely stripped down and rebuilt. The frame was fully disassembled,powder coated and put back together. Forks have been rebuilt. Fuel tank has been lined and painted. Carburetors rebuilt. All new bearings. All new seals. New bars. New braking system. 17" front tire conversion. Custom hand-built exhaust.

All the work has been done by Honda of Salt Lake, so this wasn't some fella named Cletus rebuilding a motorcycle behind the barn with a crescent wrench and a six-pack.

The original goal was to turn this into a cool café / naked street racer. The bike is about80% finished. Unfortunately, I got distracted by another projects, so this one needs a new owner to finish what I started.

I havemost of the parts needed to finish the rebuild, along withall the original parts that came off the bike.

What's been done:

• Fuel tank lined & painted

• Carburetors rebuilt

• All new bearings

• All new seals

• 17" front tire conversion

• New handlebars

• And a whole bunch of other stuff I'm probably forgetting

This isnot a turn-key, hop-on-and-ride-it-home motorcycle. It's an 80%-finished project for somebody who wants a cool old Fireblade without having to start the whole thing from scratch.

Lots of money and time already dumped into it. I just don't have the attention span to finish it.
