This one tugs at the heart strings! Our daughter is leaving home for college and then an LDS mission and needs to find a new home for Gertie, her adorable 4-year-old light ebony chinchilla. Gertie is incredibly sweet and calm; is super soft, fluffy, and cuddly; and is in great health. We’ve had her since she was a baby and she’s always lived alone in her cage. We hate to part with such a gentle, lovable family pet, but she is not allowed in on-campus housing and we have no one left at home to take care of her and give her the attention she deserves. Like Andy in Toy Story, we’re looking for our Bonnie—someone who will love this sweet chinchilla as much as our daughter has for the past 4 years!

We are willing to sell the chinchilla alone ($200) or as a package deal with all her supplies ($650 total) of which there are many—Gertie has the Taj Mahal of chinchilla cages! She literally has everything you could want for a chinchilla (and probably didn’t know that you needed).

Her cage & supplies include:\

• A double level Critter Nation cage. (The cage and its components alone cost $650 new.)\
• The 2 big levels have been upgraded to metal trays so they are easier to clean.\
• 2 sets of fleece liners for the smaller shelves.\
• 3 ramps (not in the picture) with fleece liners.\
• Wood scatter guards around the edges of the cage to keep it cleaner. \
