VenmoBeautiful antique/vintage green metal bread box, believed to date to approximately the 1930s–1940s.
Features a great original green painted finish with large black script “Bread” lettering across the front. Classic early kitchen design with a hinged lid, wire-loop front latch, rolled metal edges, reinforced body and ventilation holes on the back.
Approximate measurements:
14 3/8” wide × 10 1/2” deep × 7” tall
The box retains lots of wonderful original character and patina. It has scratches, scuffs, paint loss, small dents/dings and age-related wear throughout. Interior shows discoloration and surface wear consistent with its age. Please see photos for condition.
The lid opens and closes and the front latch is still present.
I have not refinished or repainted it. The aged green finish and original Bread lettering give this piece a fantastic authentic farmhouse/primitive look.
