VenmoBeautiful pair of Energy Connoisseur Series C-3 bookshelf speakers in Canadian maple, complete with the matching Energy C-STM-1 factory speaker stands.
These have spent a long time in storage and are exceptionally well preserved. I recently pulled them out and thoroughly tested them. They are 100% functional and sound excellent.
Condition:
- Excellent maple cabinets\
- Extremely clean silver front baffles\
- Woofers and tweeters in excellent condition\
- Original magnetic grilles are exceptionally clean\
- Original Energy badges, binding posts and rear labels\
- Matching Energy C-STM-1 stands with maple bases\
- Designed and manufactured in Canada

The Energy C-3 received a SoundStage! Reviewers’ Choice award and later won the publication’s year-end Budget Leader award.
SoundStage! called the C-3:
“A textbook example of a high-value speaker.”
The review particularly praised its midrange precision, neutrality, refined high frequencies and surprisingly full bass, noting that these were qualities normally expected from considerably more expensive monitor speakers.
The reviewer also described the C-3’s top end as “sweet and surprisingly airy” and praised its clean, clear and tight presentation.
