I have a hand blown green glass ornament with small glass threads or strands inside. It’s from Sundance and is 4 inches across. There’s a glass loop on top for hanging. They are sometimes called witch balls and are hung in doorways or windows and date back to the 18th century. The colorful glass was supposed to mesmerize evil spirits. They are now used as sun catchers. There is one little glass thread inside that’s not attached. It looks fine but you can hear it clink around if you move the ball around.
