Meet Mustang Sally.

She is a 12 year old Mustang Mare that has been made into whatever we needed her for. She has been ridden in the mountains and the sand dunes. She has been trusted to take care of a pregnant woman and pack around children. Double rider approved. Her fast gait makes her fun to take solo to the mountains, she can really cover some ground! She can track the dummy and take leg cues. I used her this last winter to rope some slow live steers. What she lacks in athleticism she makes up for in vigor. She enjoys running poles and has been used early in her life as the mustang example for 4H judging. You can tarp her, dress her up as a ghost, cross the creek, load the dog up on her and will be hard pressed to find something she spooks at. She is a classic head herd mare, love story call the shots. She has been shod but likes to make it her hobby to pull her shoes so we have been running her bare this last year, just keeping her trimmed. She has some scarring on her legs from her previous life but none of it has effected her ability to move and groove. We have had some serious fun with her just looking for something a more athletic and cowy.
